"It's simple

The child asked young:
"Mom, what is love?"
I suppressed a hidden sigh -
I did not have a ready answer.

I kissed him, hugged him gently -
I knew it was a game.
The question came inevitably.
What should I answer now?

I thought - many examples -
theft, violence, burglary,
hatred, misfortune and malice,
adversity in almost every home.

I could not find love -
clean, open, good.
Shame on the child to hide
on our sinful earth.

I looked at my son - he was painting
quietly on the white sheet.
Why did he stop going crazy?
He smiles like an artist.

In the picture - sun and house,
children play in the yard,
there mother and father embrace,
beautiful and delicate flowers. "

The child said amiably:
"Mom, I'm drawing love."
He showed me the simplest things -
I got my lesson new.
