There is a legend about this flower "bush". Once in April, when the earth was eagerly awaiting the heavenly gifts, the goddess of flowers and youth set out to awaken the Sun to see more quickly the magical twigs of the trees, to hear the song of the princes, to sink among the fragrant flowers. Hearing her call, the Sun, accompanied by its constant companion, the rainbow goddess Iris, descended to earth. Mixing the multicolored rays of her rainbow with the golden rays of the Sun, the goddess began to sprinkle meadows, fields and trees with them. In the places where purple colors fell, the lilac bushes appeared lighter and darker. Lilac is especially beautiful in the evening, when it seems to you that the spring itself is bathed in a fragrant sea, flooding the dormant garden.
